Our story begins...

"I met Jonah at a taco food truck (if you ever see Mr. Taco, tell him thanks!). I was late...and nervous. Had just come from making pretzels for the first time with a good friend of mine (shout out to Olivia!) When I arrived, Jonah was trying to fix his headlight on his car. Somehow, awkwardly, we talked and then ordered tacos, which I made a complete mess of on the curb. Talking with Jonah for the first time was both nerve wracking but also somehow refreshing, it felt like we had been friends our whole lives and just hadn't seen each other in a long time. Even though I knew nothing about him, I felt very drawn to him, felt at peace with him - comfortable, and safe. I loved his energy, his passion for all the swings his life was taking at the time. But mostly, I immediately fell in love with the sound of his voice. I could still sit for days and just listen to him talk. As the night went on, the food truck left, and we were the only ones left in the parking lot. Neither of us wanted to leave yet, so we walked. And walked. And walked. All the way into the next city, and then back. Neither of us wanted to go home, and even when we did I had already started to think of ways to be able to see him again. Any excuse. I texted him a day or so later asking him to go to a market with me the following weekend and that's when it started. EVERY weekend we saw each other after that, without fail. And then it spread into being some nights during the week as well. Before we knew it we were seeing each other, what felt like, every other day. Yet somehow we weren't spending enough time together. I knew the second time meeting Jonah, after that market place, that I wanted to marry him. Before we departed Jonah gave me a long hug and the moment he embraced me it felt like my heart was home. I have so much love for Jonah, and I feel as though it grows every single day. Every time I think I couldn't possibly love him anymore, my heart surprises me when doubling in size for that charming smile" ~ E
